M. BIDAULT MAKING PROGRESS
FORMING GOVERNMENT IN FRANCE (Rec. 9.5 a.m.) London, Oct. 26. The French Christian Democrat leader (M. Bidault) is reported to have made good progress today towards forming a Cabinet. He is to ask the National Assembly tomorrow for a vote of confidence as Prime Minister. A Paris correspondent says M. Bidault has been promised the support of the Socialists and the Radicals teday decided on principle to support and to take part in a Bidault Cabinet.
These two parties, with the Christian Democrat followers, form the coalition majority he must have to succeed.
