OHAUITI WOMEN'S INSTITUTE
The president, Mrs Gcddard, presided over a good attendance of members at the monthly meeting of the Ohauiti Women's Institute, he'd at Mrs Taylor's residence. One new member was enrolled. Mrs Maloney gave a demonstration of Italian quilting. The competition for the day, a soft toy, was won by Mrs Wiffen with Mrs Broom and Mrs Pilbrow equal second. Flower competitions resulted: Large bloom, Mrs Pilbrow 1, Mrs Taylor 2; small bloom, Mrs Maloney 1, Miss Jones 2. The hostesses were Mrs Hutchins and Mrs Wiffen.
