Children's Ward at Hospital Advice that work on the new children's ward was proceeding steadily was received at the last meeting of the Tauranga Hospital Board, from the architect in charge of the construction of the building. Foundations have been poured and a start on the foundation walls has been made, the architect stated. Sufficient cement has been obtained locally to keep the work going so far, all hough future supplies are causing anxiety. Blood Donors at Te Puke Two members of the Te Puke Women's Institute offered their services as blood donors in response to an appeal by the branch recently. Advice to this effect was received at the monthly meeting of the Tauranga Hospital Board this week, when the thanks of the board were recorded. The two volunteers have been added to the list of donors and will be called on as required by the hospital,
