GREAT INTEREST SHOWN AT MEETINGS (Special to The Times) New Plymouth, April 22. Interest in public meetings addressed by Mr F. W. Doidge MP. for Tauranga, this week'could not have been greater even if it had been in midst of general election itself At Wanganui on Tuesday night'' the Gonvitlc Town Hall was crowded and extra seating had to be provided. In Hawcra on Wednesday night there was not a. vacant seat in'the auditorium of the Grand Theatre. At New Plymouth on Thursday night an audience of 800 filled the Regent Theatre. Mr Doidge received, excellent reception at all his meetings.
