London, April 22. The South African delegate told the United Nations special political committee today that his Government found it impossible to reach a conclusion about the religious trials in Hungary and Bulgaria. He thought the allegations that the Governments had violated human lights and freedoms by their conduce of these trials, were based on incomplete and hearsay evidence. The French delegate supported the Bolivian resolution, calling on the General Assembly to express deep concern at the grave accusations made against Hungary and liuigaria. This" resolution proposes "etion under the pe'jce treaties bv the signatory powers, who should report on the steps they have taken to the next sesion of the assembly. The spokesman ior White Russia repeated the Soviet contention that fhc assembly wa« not conmetent b. consider the trials. The debate is not yet over.
