Full Session
Mr Nehru At Number 10 Downing Street

The Dominion Ministers who have assembled in London for the Commonwealth Conference, held thei 1 * first full session today at No. 10 Downing Street. It lasted two hours and adjourned until Monday afternoon. * ~. . . Later the Indian Prime Ministers, Mr Nehru, accompanied by the HighCommissioner in London and the permanent head of the Indian Department of External Affairs paid another visit to Number 10 Downing Street. A Parliamentary correspondents says that consultations between individual Ministers and groups of Ministers will continue over the weekend.
The course the Ministers are taking, he says, maker, it clear that, in determining- the crucial question of India's future relationship to the Crown, as much importance is attached to exchanges behveen individual Ministers, as to the full meeting of them all. Mr Attlee has leit London for his country residence at Chequers for the weekend, and has invited Dr and Mrs Malan, and the New Zealand Prime Minister, Mr Fraser, to be his guests. Mr and Mrs Bevan and Sir Stafford Cripps are expected to join them there for lunch on Sunday.
