TAURANGA HOSPITAL BOARD PROPERTY
SUGOKRTFD T.EAS'NG OF LAND AT OMANAWA
"Access is the stumbling block," remarked the chairman of the Tauranga Hosoital Board (Mr H. J. Clarke) when it was suggested, at the monthly meeting of the board, that the board lease its 50-acre property at Omanawa. When making the suggestion, Mr J. H. Evans referred to the move for the development, of unimproved land. If it was good farming land, he thought the board should lease it.
The board decided th?t the chairman and secretary (Mr G. D. Stuart) interview Ihe Tauranga County Council with a view to ascertaining what the urospects were of securing reasonable access to the property as the board war, keen to allow it to be farmed.
