Sections at Mt. Maunganui In a letter a resident of Mount Maunganui asked the Borough Council if i'fc would consider selling him one of its sections. The mayor, Mr S. F. Newton, expressed the opinion that the council should adopt the po'icy of advertising any property it intended to dispose of, so that everybody would have an equal opportunity of acquiring what was offered. The meeti'ng decided to advise the resident that at the present time the council had no intention of disposing of any of its sections. ■
