Record In Junior Hop, Step And Jump
The annual athletic championships of the Tauranga College will commence tomorrow morning at Nicholson Field. This is the first occasion on which the college will stage an athletfc meeting on its own ground and, with facilities _ more readily available, it is anticipated that they will be even more successful than in the past. The events wifi be conducted on an inter-house basis. The interhuuse marching will be held in the afternoon. This provides a fine spectacle for spectators, and it is expected that many visitors will be present throughout the dav. The Principal (Mr A. M. Nicholson) has issued a cordial invitation to all parents and to friends and supporters of the college to be present. Preliminary events were decided yesterday as follows; —
