LAST COMPETITION OF SUMMER SEASON F. WARD SUCCESSFUL IN AGGREGATE With ragged fairways and paspalum stalks to cope with very few players found conditions on the Tauranga Golf Club's links to their liking last weekend when the last competition of the summer season was played. H. J. Bradmore had a very comfortable win with the excellent card of 78-11-67, J. A. .Hart being his nearest opponent witn a 71 nett. The rest of the field was "nowhere". . „_<. Bradmore's late run almost secured him the summer aggregatebut F. Ward had too good a leau end, with a sound 78 gross, secured the verdict. , ifflllt In the match-play singles event J. Cajg beating F. Ward and A. Davidson 3-1.
