DRIVER FAILS TO STOP
(P.A.) Whangarei, March 1. Colin Campbell Phynn (23), railway fireman, who failed to stop after a motor accident, was fined £5 and had hi's licence cancelled for six months by Mr W. Carrol Harley, S.M., in the Whangarei Magistrate’s Court today. Police said the owner of the other car, which was badly damaged, reported the accident. Phynn admitted the collision, saying he had not stepped because he thought the other car had kept going.
