SOCIAL AFTERNOON AT AONGATETE
A social afternoon tendered to Miss Jessie Clague. whose weddi'ng took place last week, was held in the Aongatete Church Hall. Miss Clague who was the recipient of many useful and attractive gifts was extended best wishes for her future happiness by Mrs R. Cannell on behalf of all present. An amusing elocutionary item was presented by Mrs G. Walker. Competitions resulted; — Word rhyming. Mrs Walker; musical parcel, "Mrs D. Clague: autograph drawing. Miss J. Clague: notices, Miss M. Atkinson: mystery parcel, Miss J. Clague. •
