“BEST FIGURES IN THE WORLD"
GOOD WORD FOR BRITISH
RATIONING
A good word for British rationing comes from Mr Gayclord Hauser, American nutrition expert, recently in London. Ho thinks British women have the best figures of any he has seen.
“There is no need for dieting over here ” says Hauser. “It is done for you.” Three foods he considers most important for health and good looks are; Yoghourt (a milk preparation containing lactic acid), black molasses, and brewer’s yeast. He believes, too. in plenty of meat, fruit, vegetables and natural starch food^. Mr Hauser was the man who put Greta Garbo on a diet, of carrot mice and parslev. Now he has Paulette Goddard in charge. He is 47, tall and well proportioned.
