SCHOOL CADET OFFICERS
RESUMPTION OF COURSES OF INSTRRUCTION
(P.A.) Wellington, Dec. 22. The courses of instruction for post-primary school cadet officers and non-commissioned officers, which were cancelled last year because of the infantile paralysis outbreak, will be resumed in January. This was announced today by the Minister of Defence, Mr Jones. Mr Jones said that delegates to the recent conference on cadet training in Wellington had expressed the unanimous opinion that unit camps were desirable for post-primary school cadets. The attendance oi school cadets at camps and barracks was optional. There would be no charge to parents.
