Supply air trains have been arriving in Berlin today at thq rate of one every twelve minutes. A' Berlin correspondent says that up to this afternoon, 65 British and about the same number of American aircraft had brought food into the city. Earlier today there was bad flying weather on the British route and radar had to be used to guide some of the planes. At the British Airport in Berlin transpc.-t planes queued up to unload, but not for long. Their cargoes have been quickly transferred to British and German lorries which have been nssisted through the traffic by German pofice. The correspondent r.nys that reports tonight indicate that except by air. the more trickle of food into Berlin from the West has dried up. The Russians arc now holding up 35

barge? carrying food and other supplies to the city, and there are no signs that they will be released. One solitary barge arrived in the citv this morning. The cargo was bad because the Russians had delayed it. ■ A French spokesman in Berlin says the French are doing all they can to help in supplying Berlin bv air. At present, about 20 French aircraft were in use and efforts were being made to increase this number to 30. .

The British Military Governor for Germany. General Robertson, got back to Berlin todav from the west and had a talk with the American Military Governor, General Lucius D. Clay, and the Under-Secretary for the United States Army. General Robertson who had flown to Berlin from news talks near Hanover, was a visitor to the British air base for the supply service to the capital.
