UNITED NATIONS APPEAL FOR CHILDREN
(P.A.) Wellington, May 30. About £IOO,OOO has so far been subscribed in New Zealand in response to the United Nations appeal for children, stated the chairman of the Dominion committee, Mr C. S. Falconer.
The organiser of the appeal, Mr R. Malcolm, said the closing date had been extended from May 31 to June 19 in order la permit business firms to arrange their contributions and those of their staffs.
