WORKERS’ UNION PRESIDENCY
COMMUNIST SECRETARY DEFEATED
(P.A.i Wellington, May 3. Mr W. L. Wallace, prasident of the New Zealand Workers’ Union for the last two years, has been reelected by 3363 votes to 1387 in a contest with Mr L. V. Clapham, Communist secretary of the Mangakino branch of the union. Mr W. Harnett, of Gisborne, was x’c-clected vice-president.
