SOUTH CITIZENS' ASSOCIATION
OFFICERS ELECTED FOS NEW YEAR PROVISION OF LEVEL CROSSINGS Thirty-five members were present at the annual meeting, cf the Tauranga South Citizens' Association on Monday evening, the following officers being elected for the ensuing year:— President, Mr J. Taylor; Vicepresident, Mr S. M. Spitz; secretarytreasurer, Mr C. Brock way; executive committee, Messrs A. Beckett, L. E. Deacon, A. Dunlop. W: Fisher, A. C. Isherwood, R. Jackson, R. Lewis, F. B. Maunder, W. R. McClymont and F. M. Parker; trustees Messrs E. Aked and H. Swinerd. Mr C. Kennedy undertook to see the Traffic Inspector and the Borough Engineer with a view to having level crossings established as soon as possible. An effort is being made to complete the hall by lining and installing an open fire-place. Donations for the later were offered at the meeting amounting to £7, and it was left to the secretary to have the work done.
