STRIPPING OF AIRCRAFT
DAMAGED PASSENGER PLANE
Work is being continued in stripping the Lockheed Electra passenger aircraft Kahu, which was forced down into the sea near the Tauranga aerodrome on Monday afternoon. The engines and equipment have been removed, and other work is being carried out on the aircraft, which lies in the hangar.
