NEW EAST AFRICAN ASSEMBLY
KENYA. UGANDA AND TANGANYIKA FIRST MEETING HELD AT NAIROBI London, April 6. In Nairobi the new Central Legislative Assembly for Kenya, Uganda and Tanganyika met for the first time today. The Governors of the three territories who form the new East-African High Commission attended, and the speaker proposed a loyal address to the King. The Colonial Under-Secretary, Mr Rees-Williams. representing the United Kingdom Government, was their to read a message from the Colonial Secretary, Mr Creech Jones.
