FIRST SWORDFISH OF SEASON
STRIPED MARLIN LANDED AT MERCURY BAY
(PA.) Whitianga, Jan. 14. The first swordfish of the season to be caught at Mercury Bay was landed today off Mercury Island by Jvu R. Nichols. The. fish a striped marlin, weighing 3661 b, fought for two and a-half hours. The weather is perfect and a good season is expected.
