INCREASING COTTON PRODUCTION
MEASURES CONSIDERED IN MANCHESTER

The British Minister of Labour says that the results from the working of extra hours in the cotton industry, to increase production, are in some cases not very satisfactory. Most of the workers have been told that the country expects a better response from them, and there is to be a meeting in Manchester next week to consider the best ways of solving the present difficulties.
