KING’S “GRACIOUS ACT”

HUTS IN ROYAL PARK FOR HOUSING London, July 30. The King his given permission for twelve large huts formerly used by the Royal Air Force in Sunninghill Park, Windsor Forest, the suggested future home of Princess Elizabeth, to remain and be used for housing. Another 100 huts are to be reerected on one of the Windsor Council’s housing sites nearer Ascot. The council passed a resolution thanking the King for his “gracious act.”
