RATIONING OF ELECTRICITY
TAURANGA BOARD'S SYSTEM SUPPORTED
The opinion that the system adopted by the Tauranga Electric Power Board for the rationing of electricity was easily the best, was expressed by Mr N. H. Morris, when discussing this question at. the monthly meeting of the Tauranga Central Branch of Federated Farmers of New Zealand yesterday. Other members agreed with this contention. In an effort to meet the situation, the board has placed each customer on a monthly ration basis, commensurate with his normal consumption. The meeting was comparing this system with the systems adopted elsewhere in New Zealand, when the above remark was made.
