PROTEST STAGED IN CHURCH
London, Sept. 22. A number of men and women were ejected from St. Cuthbert's Church, Kensington, after a demonstration had. been staged by the National Union of Protestants against the celebration of Mass. The assistant priest had just reached the most solemn part of the ceremony when a man jumped up and declared: "This is a parish church of the Church of England. Masses are unlawful." Tlife interjector dashed to the pulpit and began to read, but members of the congregation dragged him from the pulpit. Other demonstrators, one of whom was showering leaflets among the congregation, were ejected after struggles in the aisle.
