LEAD IN INDUSTRIAL DESIGNS
BRITAIN'S ABILITY STRESSED » OPENING OF EXHIBITION 1 \ London, Sept. 23. Britain's ability to give the lead in industrial designs was stressed tonlay by Sir Stafford Cripps, President of the Board of Trade. He said that Britain could not only lead in traditional designs but could also produce workmanship that fitted into the new era into which the world was moving. He invited people from abroad to come and see for themselves at the exhibition, "Britain Can Make It." The exhibition opens to-morrow.
