PLAN TO FORM UNION
TRANSJORDAN (AND IRAK London, Sept. 22. The Times correspondent in Jerusalem reports' that King Abdullah of Transjordan, upon his arrival at Amman on his return from visiting the Regent of Irak, said that Transjordan and Irak planned to form a union. Details would- be announced when the scheme went to the Parliaments of . the two countries for ratification. The countries would retain their separate identities, but in some respects would/merge their military political, 'cultural and foreign affairs. They would establish a union council meeting alternately at Amman and Bagdad, \ King Abdullah added that no doubt Britain was not without knowledge of the proposal.
