ABDICATION THIS MONTH
KING VICTOR EMMANUEL • . , London, April 30. King Victor Emmanuel’s abdication is expected between May 10 and May 15, says the Associated Press correspondent in Rome, quoting well-informed .Monarchist circles. The informants stated that the King’s decision was reached after his supporters succeeded in convincing hiili that his retention of the crown would embarrass the Monarchist campaign, for a plebiscite on the future of the Monarchy in Italy.
