ARMED CZECH RAIDS

Major-General Lucius Clay has complained to the United States,War Department that Czechoslovakian patrols are making armed raids into the American occupation zone in Germany under the pretext of seeking Sudeten Germans. Czechs are frequently firing indiscriminately across the international border. General Clay disclosed that Gorman border police are now completely uniformed and equipped with United States firearms.
