The United States Department of Agriculture has requisitioned 60 per cent, of the country’s production of dried tinned milk for the next four months.. About 150,000,(100 pounds weight of it will, he sent to Europe and India. Another order commandeers 40 per cent of the Cheddar cheese production to allow the United States to send 1 Oh - ,000,000 pounds of it to Europe ill the next four months. The commander of the United States zone in Germany announced to-day that the American military rations in Europe would be reduced by 300 calories from next Sunday.
