ANXIETY IN JAPAN
New York, April 21. The Tokio radio said Japan is experiencing- grave calamities, both at home and abroad, and the war situation is becoming extremely fierce. Another broadcast said' the Emperor has instructed the Prime Minister, Suzuki, to attend military staff conferences* to enable him to take part in the direction of war strategy.
