Scattered Showers
The weather over the week-end was blustery und unsettled, scattered showers being experienced. The rainfall, as recorded in the 48 hours ended at 8 o'clock this morning, was .22 inches.
Ration Coupons The Food Rationing Controller, Mr J. E. Thomas, has announced that the availability of tea, sugar and butter coupons for the period beginning to-day wiy. be as folows: Tea: Coupons 25 to 28 inclusive will be available for the four weeks from April 17 to May 14 for a total of eight ounces. Sugar: Coupons 25 to 2S inclusive for a total of 31b. from April 17 to May 14. Butter: A coupons 25 and 2 6 from April 17 to April 30, each for eight ounces; A coupons 2 7 and 2S from May 1 to May 14, each for eight ounces. The current special allowance, special coupon Y 6, is available for 31b sugar for jam making until June 11.
