ORDERED TO REOPEN
BROKEN HILL STEER WORKS
London, Dec. 19
The Australian Government to-day ordered the management of the big Broken Hill steel works to reopen the plants by midnight to-night.
The Government’s action was taken after the management had refused to obey an earlier order for an arbitration official. Workers who reported for duty on the midnight shift last night and two shifts to-
day were unable to start work
