TAURANGA MARKET big yarding of pigs The fortnightly stock sale was held at the Judea Saleyards on Wednesday when the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd. offered a good yarding of pigs and a fair offering of cattle. Prices were on a par with late ruling rates. The following -is the range ot prices: Pigs Good weaners, 19s to 20s 6d; others, 15/6 to 18s; slips, good, 28s to 30s; others, 22s to 255; medium stores, £1 18s to £2; others, £1 15s to £1 17s; large stores, forward condition, £2 12s to £2 15s; light baconers, £3 3s to £3 12s; others, £3 2s; sows, £3 to £5 ss. Sheep A small yarding of ' broken mouthed ewes realised 13s 2d. Cattle Cows in milk, good sorts, £8 5s to £8 15s; others, £6 15s to £7 10s; backward Jots, £4 10s to £5 15s; heifers in milk, £6 to £7 15s; others, £5 5s to £5 15s; good fresh-con-ditioned store cows, £6 I,ls to £7 Is; others, £5 5s to £5 15s; heavy boners, £3 12s to £4; lighter, £2 to £3; steers, 16 months, £5 10s; yearling heifers, good colour, £4 15s to £5 Is; smaller sorts, £3 17s 6d to £4; heavy potter bulls, £8 10s to £10; lighter, £6 10s to £7; others, £3 5s to £5 10s.
