Retaliatory Measures

There are only two days left now in which, to send 143,000 skilled French workers to Germany. The time limit expires on Thursday, October 15. After that date retaliatory measures are expected. So far 17,000 workers have been handed over to the Germans out of 150,000 promised by Laval. Vichy states that if the required number is not forthcoming compulsion will be used, and any Frenchmen will be sent anywhere.
