FAREWELL GATHERING
MRS AUSTIN HONOURED There was a large gathering in St;Mary’s Hall on Monday, afternoon to bid farewell to Mrs D. Austin, who has been an indefatigible worker in the parish during her stay in Tauranga.
In making the presentation the Rev. Father Ecclestone expressed his appreciation of Mrs Austin’s qualities and many acts of kindness, also the regret which all present felt in losing such an exemplary Catholic family. An excellent afternoon tea was then served by the ladies of the parish.
