REGENT ‘‘Citizen Kane,” Orson Welles’ initial film vehicle, opened at the Regent Theatre yesterday. Welles’ playing of the role is brilliant in the extieme, and he gets splendid suppoi t from his Mercury Actor group, in whom are included Dorothy Comingoi e, Ruth Warrick, Joseph Gotten, Everett Sloans, George Coulouris and William Alland in the more important featured parts.
TOWN HALL Described as a bumper harvest of happy entertainment, ‘‘Barnyard Follies” opened last evening at the Town Hall Theatre with lovable little Mary Lee in the starring role, supported by a specially selected cast of screen and radio celebrities.
