LARGE SUPPLY SHIP SUNK
ATTACK BY BRITISH SUBMARINE ACTION OFF COAST OF NORWAY further SUCCESSES IX MEDITERRANEAN London, April 2S. An Admiralty communique announces that a large enemy supply ship has been torpedoed and sunk off the coast of Norway by the submarine Trident. The Trident succeeded in scoring a hit with a torpedo on a cruiser of the Prinz Eugen class shortly after the German dash up the Channo p O ur more Axis supply ships have been sunk by British submarines in the Mediterranean. These included a cargo vessel, a petrol carrier and two schooners.
