Inebriates Fined A second offender for drunkenness, Jack Brawn, aged 46, of Wairoa, was fined £ 1 oy Mr. A. J. Mirrielees J. P. in the Police Court yesterday. A first offender was lined 10/-. Grass Fire. Shortly after 11 o’clock yesterday morning the Tauranga Volunteer Fire Brigade received a call to a grass fire on the railway embankment on Dive Crescent. The flames were got under control with beaters.
