BIRTHDAY PARTY
mss IVY CURTIS COMES OF AGE A very enjoyable evening was spent at the Rivoli on Thursday of last week when Mr and Mrs W. Curtis entertained a number of friends on ,the occasion of the coming-of-age of their daughter, Ivy. Over a hundred guests were present, dancing being interspersed with items by Mrs D. Clark, Miss Ivy Curtis, Mr Edwards and Mr J. Hunter. ' •
Mrs Morine and Mr G. Morine supplied the music for dancing, and Mr H. Dong was the Master of Ceremonies.
A delightful supper was served with a birthday cake taking pride of place, and toasts were proposed by Mr L. Crew and Mr H. Hodge. The party continued till well after midnight, when ail joined in the singing of “Auld Lang Syne” and the National Anthem.
