Mrs G. S. Jarvis left hurriedly for Wellington on Friday, following news of the serious illness of her mother.
Mr T. Youngman, of Auckland, a former member of the Tauranga Borough Council, and Mrs Youngman are spending a short holiday here and are the guests of Mr J. Hanron.
New arrivals in Tauranga are Mr and Mrs McKecimie, who are taking up residence at the corner of Sixth Avenue and Edgcumbe Road. Mr McKechnie is the new manager of the State Advances in Tauranga.
