Missing from her home in Mabelstreet, Chatswood, Sydney, for several days, Mrs. Catherine Thame (65) was found wandering and in a weak condition at Crow’s Nest. She was suffering from loss of memory. Police were told that Mrs. Thame had been very sick and had been worried since her two sons joined the A.I.F. More than 30 police had searched a wide area of Chatswood and Willoughby. When found Mrs. Thame was unable to tell them where she had been. She had had no food, and was weak and almost exhausted. Police took her to her home.
