THIEVES BUSY
HOUSE OX CAMP RANSACKED A correspondent living on the Camp, having read the piece in yep terday's Bay of Plenty Times about petty thieving, reveals that last week her house was entered and thoroughly ransacked. Roth the occupants of the house were out. and in bright moonlight between 7 and 5.4 5 p.m., the thieves chiselled open a window on the front verandah. Gaining entrance, they tossed everything about, even in the bedrooms, and succeeded in finding a few pounds in cash which they took h? addition' to other articles, the amount stolen being valued at £lO. The police were informed and have been making inquiries. Householders will do well to take warning.
