PERSONAL
~Mr Peter Tlovey, younger son of Dr. and Mrs Tovey, who is at present at Canterbury College, recently won ■his rowing “blue.” Mr Toyey was also chosen as number four in the New Zealand University eight for a .proposed visit to Australia in the near future.
Miss I. Taylor leaves to-day for Christchurch, where she will spend the school holidays.
• Miss E. Farrell is leaving this afternoon for Napier en route to her home on the West Coast of the South Island. . ■
Mr A. M. Shanks leaves to-morrow for Auckland, where he will spend a holiday prior to his, departure for Milton, Southland. Mr Shanks is taking up a position as. Master of Agriculture under the Otago Education Board.
