FORMING OF WOMEN’S AUXILIARY COMMITTEE

MEETING TO-MORROW Following a decision made a few weeks ago, a meeting is to be held to-morrow for the purpose of forming a Women’s Auxiliary Committee which would function in all cases of national emergency. , In these days of uncertainty it is well to be prepared, and there are so many ways in which women are called upon to give service to their country, both in peace and war. A questionnaire has been issued which has brought in a splendid response, and further encouragement will be given to-morrow, when the meeting will be addressed by Mrs Glacken, and Dr. Frazerhurst, both of whom had war service. It is also hoped to have Captain Shuttleworth, District Area Officer, Paeroa, present. The time and place of the meeting are advertised, and a full attendance is requested to- deal with this vital matter.
