BUSY IN AUCKLAND Clothing factories in Auckland have beeif working at maximum pressure since early in the year, and although a scarcity of girl operatives has hampered production, the prospects for the industry 1 are considered unusually good. The volume of business is stated to be limited only by the supplies of materials and productive capacity. Orders from retailers have been booked well ahead of delivery, and there has been no slack time this winter. Some of the larger firms have planned to make lines of apparel formerly imported, and further developments are expected
