Tnapiro Bridge Damaged. As the result of the heavy rain on Tuesday night the Hood waters scoured the main supports of each abutment of the Tuapiro Bridge, on the Main Highway between Katikati and Atheuree, rendering the bridge unfit for carrying traffic. The Public Works Department have barri- f caded the approaches and are arranging for the driving of piles, for which the Tanranga Harbour Board’s plant will be used.
