WEDDING

RKFVIEM—SMITH. The marriage took place on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock, of Miss Mary Tasman Smith, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs Tasman Smith, of Wairoa, and Mr Kristian Ingar Refviem, of Nbrway. After the ceremony, which took place at the Presbyterian Church, the Rev. Smyth officiating, the wedding party adjourned to Hotel St. Anne’s, where a reception was held in the lounge and garden. The bride looked very dainty in a white frock of crinkle crepe, worn with a navy blue girdle, navy shoes and a large navy and white hat. She carried a sheaf of large white lilies. Her maid, Miss Lorna Tasman Smith, who wore a frock of biscuit shade, carried a bouquet of regal lilies.

Mrs Tasman Smith, who received her guests on the verandah at St. Anne’s, wore navy and white, and carried a bouquet of red roses.
