Large Majority For Restoration VEMZELISTS ABSTAIN FROM VOTING. London, Nov. 4 Ex-King George 11. of Greece lias received word from Athens that in the plebiscite held there yesterday 95 per cenff of the electors voted tor his return. He received the message with obvious pleasure. Athens, Nov. 4 The Greek Government telegraphed to ex-King George 11. stating ! Hat the Hellenic people had “voted freely and without being constrained,” and 95 per cent, were in favour of the restoration of the monarchy. General Kondylis announced that “the political parties are abolished and the King is the legitimate sovereign.” ' The Venizelists largely abstained from voting. Four million Greeks were ordered to vote under a penalty of £2O. New coinage has been ordered bearing a picture of George’s head. The press was censored and the army and police were organised to ensure a Royalist majority.
