HERD TESTING
BAY OP PLENTY ASSOCIATION The following delegates attended the annual meeting of the Bay of Plenty Herd Testing Association, held In the office of the Secretary, Mr G. R. Kent, Whakatane on Monday: . Messrs W. R. Boon ’ (('hairman), W. J. Law ( Ohinepanea), R. Wilson, F. J. Savage, H. H. Poole (K itikati), A. W. T, Hyde (Katikati), S. U. Wells (Omokoroa), K. Bennett (Te Puke), A. McLean (Thornton), B. Armstrong (Opotikl West), A., J. W. Kemp (Opotiki East), W- J- Murray (Otakiri), ComTnander D. M. Fell (Tauranga). - The chairman and, delegate to the Federation Conference presented reports, which were adopted. - The election of officers-resulted in ; Mr W. R. Boon being re-elected chairman, Mr W. J. Law delegate to the Federation, and Mr P. Prldeaux auditor, for the ensuing year. - A committee was set up to revise the rules. ‘ ■
A discussion took- place ref&rding calf clubs, and it was resolved that in the case of a member of the Bay of Plenty. Herd-Testing Association, having a child who is-a . member of a. calf rearing dab. such child may have one heifer (being the bona-fide property of the member of the dub) tested free by the Association.
